About This Job:

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable female caregiver to provide in-home support for an elderly woman in her 80s. She is diabetic, unable to walk without assistance, uses a walker, and weighs approximately 200 lbs (5'4" tall). She is Catholic and deeply values her faith, so we are seeking someone who can respect and align with her beliefs while providing care.

Job Details:

• Location: Westchester, Illinois, 60154
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: 
  - Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  (Hours may be adjusted as the family settles into a routine; potentially a few hours in the morning and a few in the afternoon.)
• Rate: $20.83 per hour

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
  
• Provide support in transferring and walking, including helping her get to the bathroom safely
  
• Perform light lifting as needed
  
• Prepare meals and assist with monitoring blood sugar levels
  
• Handle light housekeeping and laundry
  
• Offer compassionate companionship and respectful support

Requirements:

• Female caregiver preferred
• Experience with diabetic care and mobility assistance
  
• Comfortable working with a client who is religious and values faith-based companionship
• Kind, patient, and dependable
