About the Facilities Maintenance Technician (FMT) Role:
Reporting to the Company’s Sr. Director, Clinical Operations, the Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day coordination, maintenance, and operational readiness of all Herself Health clinic locations. This role ensures that our clinics are safe, compliant, welcoming, and fully functional for patients and staff. The FMT partners closely with clinic leaders, vendors, and internal teams to proactively manage facility needs and respond to issues. This is a part-time position, meaning the role is able to work up to 24 hours per week.

Candidates are expected to float among the five (5) clinic locations as needed:
- Highland Park Clinic | 2004 Ford Pkwy, Saint Paul, MN 55116
- Crystal Clinic | 5200 Douglas Dr N., Minneapolis, MN 55429
- Lyndale Clinic | 5450 Lyndale Ave S., Minneapolis, MN 55419
- Rosedale Clinic | 2401 Fairview Ave N. #145, Roseville, MN 55113
- Eagan Clinic | 2000 Rahncliff Ct. #400, Eagan, MN 55122
Essential Functions:
- Act as the primary, on-the-ground point of contact for all facilities requests from clinical teams, owning issues from intake through resolution
- Manage and resolve day-to-day facilities issues across all Herself Health clinics to ensure spaces remain safe, clean, and fully operational for patients and staff
- Perform and coordinate preventative maintenance, on-site repairs, and emergency response across clinic locations, escalating to external vendors as needed
- Directly engage, schedule, and oversee third-party vendors (janitorial, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, waste removal, security), ensuring timely, high-quality completion of work
- Review, track, and approve facilities-related invoices, service agreements, and contractor expenses in partnership with the Sr. Director, Clinical Operations, maintaining alignment with budget expectations
- Collaborate with Compliance, Clinical Operations, and People Operations to directly support safety initiatives, OSHA requirements, and regulatory readiness
- Order, restock, and manage inventory of facility-related supplies to ensure clinics are consistently prepared and functional
- Perform and coordinate general upkeep of clinics
Must-have Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma minimum
- 2+ years of experience in administration, property management, or building operations
- Experience supporting multiple sites or locations
- Familiarity with OSHA, safety compliance, or healthcare regulatory environments
- Strong vendor management and contract coordination skills
- Working knowledge of building systems, maintenance coordination, and workplace safety standards
- Ability to travel locally between clinic sites
- Authorized to work in the United States
Nice-to-have Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting clinic openings or buildouts
- Project management experience
