SUMMARY

The Videographer is a key member of the creative team within the marketing department, responsible for planning, capturing, and editing high-quality video content. A large portion of this role involves templated and repeatable video work in support of the product and sales teams, including quick-turn product videos, website content, and customer-specific projects. Strong attention to detail and the ability to proactively communicate with internal stakeholders are critical for success in this role.

This position collaborates cross-functionally with sales, product management, marketing, and operations to support both internal and external video content needs. The role may also involve coordinating with outside resources as needed. Experience with video editing software, motion graphics, and camera equipment is required. Familiarity with project management tools, such as JIRA, is a plus.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in both video and audio production, including recording, editing, and mixing. Experience with podcasting, live streaming, or multi-camera broadcast setups is a strong plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, shoot, and edit templated and repeatable product and promotional videos
  • Capture on-site and studio footage using HexArmor-provided video, lighting, and audio equipment
  • Edit recorded footage into engaging, brand-aligned final deliverables
  • Support a variety of content needs: product overviews, interviews, animations, social media clips, live video, and podcasts
  • Set up, record, and edit audio for video and stand-alone applications (e.g., podcasting, voiceovers)
  • Add motion effects, graphics, music, and sound design to enhance storytelling
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, product, and digital teams to align on messaging and goals
  • Maintain and manage video and audio equipment, digital storage systems, and content archives
  • Assist with concepting and art direction when needed
  • Track time and manage video projects through JIRA or similar tools
  • Use basic AI tools and technologies to streamline video editing workflows, support creative ideation, and improve efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and related tools
  • Experience in audio and video production, including podcasting and/or live broadcasts
  • Basic photography and cinematography skills
  • Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition
  • Organized and able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (with advance notice and approval)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A bachelor’s degree in film production, multimedia, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in videography, editing, or digital content creation
