Quality Assurance Technician

JOB SUMMARY

HexArmor is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter, with an eye for detail and process based approach. The Quality Assurance Technician will support the Quality and Product Management team. The role will focus on product expectations, specifications, and conformity. They will have the opportunity to work collaboratively and support a variety of operations within the company including Production, Warehouse, and Customer Service. We are looking for ambitious, organized, and savvy people looking to make an impact on this fast-growing organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods according to established procedures, to determine conformance to accepted specifications
- Ensure delivery against QA goals and objectives by meeting commitments and coordinating overall quality assurance schedule
- Maintain policy for documentation of all products
- Maintain product consistency throughout production cycle to include quality checkpoints and testing
- Contribute to quality assurance metrics for performance improvement and performance to plan
- Work with equipment and materials (e.g., operate, maintain, calibrate, etc.)
- Perform general inventory transfers
- Cooperate and communicate with production employees
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school graduate, some college experience preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- 0-2 years relevant work experience
- Able to lift up to 50lb
- Efficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
COMPENSATION
- Hourly + Up to 5% performance bonus
