SUMMARY

The Business Category Manager – Wearable Safety Solutions will serve as the business leader for HexArmor's strategic partnership with Verve Motion and the SafeLift exoskeleton product line.

This individual will be responsible for overall business performance, forecasting, sales enablement, product strategy, market feedback, and coordination with Verve Motion. Acting as the primary liaison between HexArmor and Verve, the Business Category Manager will work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership to drive growth and profitability.

This role requires strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple organizations.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Ownership

  • Own overall business performance, revenue growth, forecasting, and profitability for the Wearable Safety Solutions category.
  • Develop and execute annual business plans and growth strategies.
  • Monitor performance against financial targets and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
  • Track market opportunities, sales trends, competitive activity, and customer adoption.

Strategic Partnership Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between HexArmor and Verve Motion.
  • Coordinate recurring business reviews, forecasting discussions, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Verve teams regarding product availability, customer feedback, implementation opportunities, and future product development.
  • Ensure alignment between HexArmor commercial objectives and Verve business priorities.

Market Development

  • Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and monitor industry trends related to ergonomics, injury prevention, and wearable technology.
  • Develop recommendations for market positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Identify key vertical markets and target accounts.

Sales Enablement

  • Partner with Sales Leadership to develop training programs, sales tools, and implementation resources.
  • Support field sales activities through customer visits, presentations, and strategic account engagement.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on wearable safety technologies and ergonomics solutions.
  • Assist with major opportunities and executive-level customer discussions.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with Marketing to develop demand generation campaigns and sales collateral.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to support forecasting and customer implementation plans.
  • Provide regular business updates and recommendations to executive leadership.

 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable business plans.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience managing strategic partnerships preferred.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, category management, business management, or related commercial leadership roles.
  • Experience in industrial, safety, ergonomics, healthcare technology, or adjacent industries preferred.

 

COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary plus Bonus
