JOB SUMMARY

HexArmor is seeking a Vice President of Manufacturing, Compliance & Integration to lead the strategic vision, execution, and continuous improvement across our global manufacturing base. Reporting to the COO and partnering closely with the executive leadership team, this leader will work directly with strategic manufacturers and our product development, supply chain and finance teams to integrate and scale our manufacturing interests while driving quality and excellence further up the supply chain.

Onsite at our Headquarters: 640 Leffingwell Ave. NE Grand Rapids, MI

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide strategic vision and leadership for onboarding and integrating strategic suppliers
  • Act as primary point of contact with partner manufacturers relating to joint initiatives
  • Establish best-in-class KPIs and performance measurement systems
  • Drive manufacturing efficiency through process optimization and systems evolution
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Product Development, Supply Chain, and HR
  • Expand global capabilities including increased capacity and efficiency across supply base
  • Work with manufacturing partners to identify resource needs, both talent and financial
  • Provide project management and oversight of joint initiatives with manufacturing partners

Quality and Compliance

  • Oversee the quality and compliance team within HexArmor, building quality and compliance into the early product development and manufacturing processes
  • Work with the quality and compliance team to develop and implement a comprehensive supplier quality and performance program across our supply base

Continuous Improvement

  • Work directly with partner manufacturers and our supply chain and finance teams to drive process improvements resulting in reduced product costs, reduced lead times and improved financial reporting and results

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, or supply chain
  • Executive-level experience in leading global strategy and initiatives
  • Strong background in continuous improvement, systems implementation, and KPI-driven
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-site and international operations
  • Ability to lead through influence and collaborate across executive teams
  • Willingness to travel internationally 4-6 times per year, as needed for durations of one to two weeks at a time

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Industrial Technology, or Industrial Engineering. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
