Position Summary

As an SEO Manager at HeyGen, you will play a pivotal role in prioritizing and optimizing our digital content to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and improve conversions. You will be responsible for analyzing our website and content strategies, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing SEO best practices to enhance our online presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Website and Content Analysis: Review and audit HeyGen’s website to ensure it adheres to the latest SEO standards, identifying areas for improvement in content, structure, and performance.
  • Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify the most effective search terms for our target audience, and integrate these keywords into our content strategy.
  • Content Optimization: Collaborate with the content team to create and optimize engaging, SEO-friendly content that resonates with our audience while meeting search engine criteria.
  • Link Building: Develop and implement strategies to build high-quality backlinks, partner with complementary businesses, and improve our site's authority.
  • SEO Trends and Analysis: Stay updated with the latest search engine trends, algorithm changes, and SEO best practices to ensure HeyGen remains competitive in search rankings.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using analytics tools, identifying successes and areas for further optimization.
  • Competitor Analysis: Keep track of competitors’ SEO strategies, identifying successful tactics and potential opportunities for HeyGen.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, advertising, and content teams to align SEO strategies with overall marketing objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, preferably in the tech or digital content industry.
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS, we use WebFlow) and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS (familiarity with Javascript is a plus but not required).
  • Experience with new platforms combining LLMs for SEO like AirOps
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.

Salary Range
$170,000 – $190,000 annually
Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.  HeyGen considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal equity, as well as location, market and business considerations when extending an offer.  As part of our total rewards package, HeyGen offers comprehensive benefits including a 401k plan, health benefits, generous PTO, a parental leave program and emotional health resources.
