Human Resource Analyst I
The HR Analyst plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of Hibu employee data within the various HRIS solutions, while ensuring strict confidentiality of said information. Employee data reports – both scheduled and ad hoc – will be part of your responsibilities. You will assist the Mgr-HR Systems with various HRIS and other related projects on an as-needed basis. In addition, you will serve as an HR point of contact via the HR Help Desk.
Responsibilities
- Maintain HRIS system tables (job codes, user-fields), ensuring beforehand appropriate documentation/approvals are provided.
- Create/manage the job code process, including working with Finance on cost center changes.
- Maintain accuracy of HRIS database, including regularly scheduled audits of employee detail and history corrections. Appropriate cleanup is essential to ensure accurate reporting.
- Assist in the review, testing and implementation of system upgrades. Collaborate with functional (payroll, finance, HR) and technical (IT) staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Document process and results.
- Manage the job description folder, adding new and re-evaluated job descriptions and archiving expired descriptions
- Create and distribute scheduled reports as well as ad hoc reports. Gain proficiency with the HRIS reporting tool.
- Assisting employees and others with their HR related questions, escalating where needed. For non-HR questions, make determination who best to assist and hand off caller to that team.
- Assist as needed with the annual benefits open enrollment process.
- Assist with the auditing and testing of the annual merit and bonus review process.
- Participate in various HR projects as needed

Necessary Experience, Education, Technical Requirements
- Associate's Degree or higher preferred
- Experience with UKG (Ultimate Software/UltiPro) preferred
- Proficient (intermediate level) with Microsoft products, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Prior customer service or HR experience preferred
- Hibu has a hybrid work model, it is expected that this individual has the ability to work in our Cedar Rapids, Iowa office 2-3 days per week
