Funny name, serious business

We make eco-friendly products and donate 50% of our profits to provide clean water and help build toilets for the billions of people who lack proper access. So far, we’ve contributed over $18 million AUD (roughly $12.5 million USD) to fund sanitation projects around the globe. Basically, we’re really good at doing good.

With hubs in Australia, the Philippines, China, the US, UK and Europe, our amazing team of 200+ work to make the biggest possible impact for people and the planet. Over the next couple of years, we’re hoping to increase our annual donation tenfold to get us closer to our dream of everyone in the world having access to clean water and sanitation services.

A bit about the role

Ever dreamed of a job where you can make a genuine impact while talking toilets? Well, you're in luck! We're currently recruiting for a Junior Account Manager.

This isn't just any old gig. You'll be right in the thick of it, helping to grow and execute our Independent channel strategy alongside our awesome distributor and wholesaler partners. Think getting our feel-good products into even more hands (and bathrooms!). You'll be a vital cog in the machine that's all about growing our market share, attracting new customers, boosting visibility, and ultimately cementing our spot in the retail landscape. If you're a 'Contributor' who proactively demonstrates our values and loves a good challenge, this could be your next exciting chapter!

If you worked here this past month here are some things you might have been involved in

  • Helping nail our national promo programs, making sure all submissions were on time and distributors were executing like champs (think 100% on time, >95% compliance – woohoo!).
  • Getting stuck into building some foundational relationships with our top 5 distributor reps and some key MSO buyers in WA/NSW. You'd be gathering all those juicy insights to help us build an even better strategy.
  • Coordinating logistics and Point of Sale for in-store retailer events or sampling activations. You're the one making sure everything runs smoothly and we're looking our best in the aisles!
  • Diving into the data to identify any gaps or inefficiencies in how our distributors are doing things, or spotting areas where a banner could perform even better. Then, you'd propose some clever fixes!
  • Proactively identifying when customer follow-ups are needed with our distributors, maybe chasing up pricing updates or order submissions to keep everything humming along.
  • Lending a hand with some event logistics or helping prep a presentation for an important category review – because teamwork makes the dream work!
  • Juggling the demands of a few different banners and state priorities, making sure you're always focusing on what will make the biggest impact.
  • Keeping our documentation and retailer assets sparkling clean and up-to-date so everyone internally has what they need for seamless execution.

Let’s talk about you

Utilising your existing customer experience you'll be instrumental in shaping our strategy by sharing local market insights and recommending tactics to boost visibility. You're a planning pro, keeping everything organised and using your critical thinking to spot issues and propose smart solutions to continually improve sales performance. You'll also excel at building and nurturing strong relationships with distributors and internal teams, being that reliable go-to person who tackles challenges with care and responsiveness.

Beyond these core skills, you're a self-starter who takes initiative and masterfully prioritises tasks to get things done. You'll be a Customer Relationship Management whiz, building solid connections and consistently following through. Your expertise in Promotion & Trade Execution means you'll flawlessly coordinate campaigns, and your knack for Sales Reporting & Data Accuracy will keep our records sparkling clean. Finally, your willingness to jump in and support Retail & Event activities will make you a true superstar on our team.

You give a crap

Do you want your work to make the world a better place? Do you want to work with other people who feel the same way? What a coincidence — us too!

Why should you work with us?

First off, as a certified B Corp™, we work to make a difference every day while maintaining the highest standards of social and environmental impact. With our most recent score of 125.5 we’re in very good company with other exceptional B Corps around the world.

We also believe that helping to make the world a better place should be rewarded accordingly – that’s why we offer competitive, market informed salaries, meaningful support towards healthcare for our team around the world, generous paid leave, tailored learning and development opportunities, and free toilet paper (yes, you read that right).

Our engagement surveys (thanks Culture Amp!) tell us that our team is really proud (95%) to work for Who Gives A Crap and, well, we couldn’t be more proud of that.

Have you made it this far?

If you’re still reading, we think there’s a strong chance you might be our kind of person. Here’s the thing, though — research suggests that 60% of women and underrepresented folks might have already talked themselves out of applying. Even if you don’t check every box above, we want to encourage you to introduce yourself. We believe a diversity of perspectives and experiences makes a team stronger — and the stronger our team, the closer we are to delivering toilets and clean water for all.
