Sales Engineer, South East, US

We are seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to join our sales team, specializing in the AI security space. As a Sales Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving the adoption of our innovative AI security solutions, working closely with our sales representatives and prospective clients to understand their security needs, demonstrate the capabilities of our products, and architect tailored solutions that address their unique requirements. Your technical expertise, combined with strong communication and interpersonal skills, will be essential in building and maintaining relationships with clients and effectively articulating the value proposition of our AI security offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Consultation: Collaborate with the sales team to engage with clients and prospects, conducting technical discussions to understand their security challenges, objectives, and infrastructure requirements.
  2. Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the features, functionalities, and benefits of our AI security solutions to prospective clients.
  3. Solution Design: Architect customized security solutions tailored to client needs, leveraging your understanding of cybersecurity principles, AI technologies, and industry best practices.
  4. Proof of Concept (PoC): Lead the development and execution of proof of concept (PoC) projects, working closely with clients to validate the effectiveness and feasibility of our solutions in their environment.
  5. Technical Support: Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to clients, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a smooth deployment and integration process.
  6. Training and Enablement: Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients and internal stakeholders, empowering them with the knowledge and skills to effectively utilize our AI security products.
  7. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and research, to provide feedback from the field and contribute to product enhancements and roadmap.
  8. Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape in the AI security space, continuously enhancing your knowledge and expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role within the cybersecurity industry, preferably in the AI security space.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, methodologies, and technologies, with a focus on AI-driven security solutions.
  • Proven comfort with cloud devops, cloud security, command line and leveraging APIs
  • Proficiency in articulating technical concepts and value propositions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with conducting product demonstrations, proof of concepts (PoCs), and technical presentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for technology and a drive for continuous learning and development.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to client sites and industry events.
