Product Marketing Manager – AI Security

Remote [within the US]

ABOUT THE ROLE:

HiddenLayer is entering an exciting new chapter in our company history, and we are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to drive positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for our AI Security platform. In this role, you’ll help define and communicate the category of AI security—translating complex adversarial AI threats and technical capabilities into compelling value for customers, analysts, and the broader cybersecurity market.

As Product Marketing Manager, you will serve as the strategic bridge between Product, Threat Research, Sales, and Marketing—owning how we bring new capabilities to market and clearly articulate how HiddenLayer protects generative AI and agentic systems from cybersecurity threats. This is a high-impact role in a fast-moving, emerging category.

WHO WE ARE:

HiddenLayer protects the world’s most valuable technologies from adversarial AI attacks. We were founded by AI professionals and security specialists with first-hand experience of how insidious adversarial AI attacks can be to detect and defend against. Determined to prove that these attacks were preventable, the team developed a unique, patent-pending, productized solution to support organizations in accelerating their adoption of AI securely.

Our dedication to innovation has been recognized by prestigious awards such as RSA's Innovation Sandbox Winner, CB Insights AI 100, CyberTech 100, and SC's Most Promising Early-Stage Start-up.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

You will be responsible for shaping and amplifying HiddenLayer’s market narrative in the rapidly evolving AI security landscape. Your ability to translate deep technical capabilities into differentiated messaging and compelling stories will drive awareness, demand, and product adoption.

Positioning & Messaging

  • Develop and refine product positioning and messaging that clearly articulates HiddenLayer’s differentiation in AI security.
  • Translate adversarial AI research, MITRE ATLAS mappings, and technical detection capabilities into customer-centric value propositions.
  • Define and evolve our category narrative as the AI threat landscape matures.

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Own end-to-end go-to-market strategy for new product launches and feature releases.
  • Partner with Product Management to ensure launch readiness across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partner teams.
  • Develop launch plans, enablement materials, and campaign messaging to drive pipeline and adoption.

Sales & Field Enablement

  • Create compelling sales tools including pitch decks, battlecards, one-pagers, solution briefs, and objection-handling guides.
  • Enable Sales and Sales Engineering teams with clear, differentiated messaging.
  • Participate in strategic deals and customer conversations as a subject matter expert when needed.

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and track emerging players in AI security, MLOps, and cybersecurity.
  • Monitor adversarial AI trends and evolving threat research to inform messaging and strategy.
  • Develop competitive battlecards and positioning frameworks.

Analyst & External Engagement

  • Support analyst relations by developing briefing materials and participating in analyst inquiries.
  • Contribute thought leadership content including blogs, whitepapers, webinars, and conference messaging.
  • Help position HiddenLayer as the leader in AI security.

Customer Insights

  • Partner with Customer Success and Sales to gather customer feedback and validate messaging.
  • Develop case studies and customer stories that highlight measurable impact and business value.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Product Marketers in cybersecurity looking to specialize in AI security
  • Product Marketers in AI/ML or MLOps seeking to expand into cybersecurity
  • Technical marketers with experience translating complex technologies into clear value

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in cybersecurity, AI/ML, SaaS, or enterprise software.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and/or AI/ML concepts.
  • Experience launching technical products in emerging or category-creating markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft differentiated positioning and messaging frameworks.
  • Experience developing sales enablement and competitive intelligence materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Threat Research, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and customer insights.

Preferred:

  • Experience with AI/ML security, MLOps, or adversarial AI concepts.
  • Experience working in venture-backed startups or high-growth environments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise cybersecurity buyers and sales cycles.

Personal Attributes:

  • Strategic thinker with strong execution focus.
  • Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies.
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented with strong relationship-building skills.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and positive attitude.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
