About the Job
We’re hiring an Inside Sales Specialist to help grow our wholesale retail channel. You’ll be the first touchpoint for many of our retail partners and a key extension of the High Camp brand, working closely with our Director of Sales and Sales Ops as we expand across outdoor, golf, kitchen/home, hospitality, wine/spirits, and more.
This is a high-ownership role in a fast-moving environment, not a scripted call-center job. You’ll prioritize the highest-impact work, manage a pipeline, and keep revenue moving every day.
We’re looking for a builder, someone who can execute, improve, and scale as we grow. You bring a positive, hands-on approach and a genuine connection to the product and the experience behind it, from cocktails and mocktails to coffee by the fire, time outside, and great design paired with great hospitality.
What You’ll Do
Revenue-first lead and pipeline management
- Respond quickly and professionally to inbound wholesale inquiries (target: within 48 hours).
- Manage active opportunities from first inquiry through close, including follow-up, next steps, and keeping deals moving.
- Re-engage existing accounts and “carryover” customers to drive reorders and unlock repeat revenue.
- Track activity and outcomes, and use reporting to prioritize what will drive the most impact.
Outbound prospecting and account development
- Prospect and develop new wholesale retail accounts across multiple verticals.
- Build outreach lists; run thoughtful outbound email/call sequences; and coordinate samples when needed.
- Spot opportunities to expand an account beyond the initial ask (sell-through, replenishment, new categories, event needs, etc.).
Order support and coordination (hands-on)
- Support the order process end-to-end in a small-team environment:
- Coordinate mockups/logo customization workflows
- Generate/send invoices (Shopify B2B)
- Ensure orders move cleanly through approval and fulfillment
- Maintain clean customer notes and pipeline status so the team always knows where accounts stand.
Trade shows, events, and brand representation (approx. 25% travel)
- Represent High Camp at key trade shows and events; support the booth, follow up leads, and open accounts on the road.
- Engage buyers and customers with confidence across very different environments (specialty retail buyers, golf tournament organizers, outdoor accounts, lifestyle accounts, etc.).

What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- 2+ years experience in B2B or direct to consumer sales with a tangible, premium consumer product (not purely services).
- Comfort working autonomously in a small-team or start-up environment; you can prioritize your day and execute without scripts.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills; you can connect with a variety of different customer types.
- Experience working with CRM-like systems and reporting.
- Experience working with specialty retail accounts (selling to retailers, serving as a buyer, or working in-store) with a strong command of retail economics, including margins, pricing, and sell-through.
- Ability to work remotely with willingness to travel (~25%) for trade shows, in-office visits and key events
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in drinkware, outdoor/lifestyle, premium retail, golf, kitchen/home, wine/spirits, or adjacent premium categories.
- Experience selling products with customization or logo/engraving workflows.
- Based near one of our offices in San Rafael, CA; Bozeman, MT; or Denver, CO.

- Base salary: $60-90K depending on experience
