People Operations Coordinator

San Francisco

About Hightouch

Hightouch is the modern AI platform for marketing and growth teams. Our AI agents reimagine marketing workflows, allowing marketers to create content, plan campaigns, and execute strategies with transformational velocity and performance.

Hightouch is a rare company built on the intersection of two fundamental technological shifts: advances in LLMs and agentic AI, and the creation and rapid adoption of cloud data warehouses like Snowflake and Databricks. Building on these tailwinds, we’ve become a leader in AI marketing and partner with industry leaders like Domino’s, Chime, Spotify, Ramp, Whoop, Grammarly, and over 1000 others.

Our team focuses on making a meaningful impact for our customers. We approach challenges with first-principles thinking, move quickly and efficiently, and treat each other with compassion and kindness. We look for team members who are strong communicators, have a growth mindset, and are motivated and persistent in achieving our goals.

About The Role

We’re looking for a People Operations Coordinator to be the trusted day-to-day partner for our employees and operational backbone of the People Ops function. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, resourceful, and energized by making things run smoothly for our employees. This role reports to the Head of People Operations and sits alongside the People Operations Manager. The role is based in San Francisco with an expectation of 2-3 days in the office.

You’ll be the primary point of contact for many employee questions and lifecycle moments, owning the details that make the employee experience seamless. This role offers broad exposure across People Operations, including global HR practices, systems, benefits, office operations, and event management — with a fast trajectory for growth as our team and company expand.

What You'll Do

Employee Experience & Lifecycle

  • Own day-to-day employee onboarding and offboarding to ensure a smooth, welcoming, and compliant experience for our global workforce; we are growing fast, so this person needs to be able to handle high volume of onboarding (10-20 new hires per week)
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions, helping teammates navigate policies, tools, and processes with clarity and empathy
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data across People systems (Rippling experience is a bonus!)
  • Support the People Operations Manager on immigration and leave of absence cases

People Operations & Systems

  • Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, audits, and employee education
  • Help document, improve, and scale People processes to reduce friction and increase consistency
  • Assist with reporting, audits, and data hygiene to ensure our People operations are clean, reliable, and scalable

Culture, Events & Office Management

  • Support team-wide engagement initiatives, including recruiting events, holiday parties, events, and off-sites
  • Help manage day-to-day operations of our SF office, including supplies, catered lunch, vendors, mail, etc
  • Partner with SF-based leadership on culture-building efforts that create a welcoming, inclusive, and well-run workplace

Growth & Impact

  • Contribute ideas as we design and evolve People programs and policies
  • Take on increasing ownership and responsibility as the company grows
  • Gain exposure to global People Operations and HR practices as we scale

What We're Looking For

  • 2–5 years of experience in People Operations, HR, or a related role
  • Exceptionally organized, responsive, and detail-oriented — you follow through and close loops
  • Experience working with HR systems and tools (our stack: Rippling, Greenhouse, Lattice, Notion)
  • Strong customer-service mindset with a positive, solutions-oriented approach
  • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a fast-moving environment
  • Process-driven and obsessed with making things work smoothly for employees
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with sound judgment and discretion
  • Experience supporting a global workforce, including employees across multiple countries and time zones
  • Collaborative team player who is eager to learn from others and grow quickly

We are looking for talented, intellectually curious, and motivated individuals who are interested in tackling the problems above. We focus on impact and potential for growth more than years of experience. The salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000 USD per year, which is location independent in accordance with our remote-first policy.
