Wholesale Senior Account Executive
Hill House Home is seeking an experienced Wholesale Senior Account Executive to join our New York team, reporting directly to the VP of Merchandising and Wholesale, to manage and grow our women’s RTW wholesale business.
You’ll play a key part in ensuring full lifecycle account management by nurturing relationships with current and new partners, maintaining operational excellence, and driving cross-functional collaboration. You’ll come with a proven track record of supporting wholesale business development, including international market expansion.
What You’ll Do:
- Account Management:
- Manage day-to-day communication and operations for key wholesale accounts, ensuring excellent service and partnership.
- Monitor and analyze account performance, sell-through, and inventory levels to optimize sell-in and sell-out.
- Partner with internal cross-functional teams (merchandising, planning, production, and logistics) to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- New Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new wholesale opportunities across traditional department stores, online retailers, and specialty boutiques.
- Present seasonal collections to prospective accounts and negotiate terms to close new business.
- Attend relevant trade shows and market appointments to represent the brand and build a robust wholesale pipeline.
- Sales Strategy & Forecasting:
- Develop seasonal sales strategies in alignment with brand goals and market trends.
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts and post-market recaps.
- Collaborate on merchandising strategies tailored to each retail partner’s customer base.
- International Expansion:
- Support and expand international wholesale partnerships, navigating regional market nuances and logistics.
- Work with international distributors or agents as needed.
Who You Are:
- 5-7 years of experience in wholesale sales, with a focus on women’s RTW.
- Strong relationships with major retailers (e.g., Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Saks) and/or specialty stores.
- Proven success in growing existing accounts and acquiring new business.
- Experience working in or with international markets is a plus.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; able to use data to drive decisions.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with JOOR or NuORDER a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed for market appointments and account visits.
Compensation for the role will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience. The estimated annual compensation for this role is $100,000-$120,000+.
