Social Media Marketing Intern

The Social Media Marketing Intern will support the corporate marketing team in managing and growing the social media presence for both the Hillpointe brand and the Pointe Grand apartment portfolio. This role involves working closely with internal teams to generate leads for our communities and enhance our brand’s online presence. This position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced marketing environment while developing both creative and analytical skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in ideation, creation, and execution of content across major social platforms for both Hillpointe and Pointe Grand brands.
  • Maintain brand consistency between Hillpointe corporate content and Pointe Grand community content.
  • Support day-to-day management for social media accounts
  • Occasional travel to onsite properties to capture social media content
  • Monitor and track engagement and activity across channels and profiles
  • Track analytics and prepare relevant recommendations and insights
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Strong written communication skills, especially for short-from content
  • Must be familiar with Canva, Social media platforms, Capcut, and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Working knowledge of basic social media and scheduling tools
  • Basic photo/video editing (Reels, TikToks, short-form video)
  • Time management and ability to handle multiple accounts or deadlines
  • Creative thinker with a passion for staying up-to-date on the latest social media trends and technologies.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry light materials (up to 10 pounds) such as camera equipment or marketing materials
  • Ability to travel occasionally to onsite properties and move around community spaces
  • Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers, cameras, and mobile devices

 

Work Environment:

  • Combination of office work and indoor and outdoor onsite fieldwork at residential communities
  • Standard business hours are expected
