Role Mission
Your goal will be to raise $100M of AUM in the next 12 months in customer capital.
You shall be responsible for the entire asset-gathering lifecycle—from go-to-market planning and prospect origination to closing commitments, nurturing LP relationships - while partnering closely with the investment, risk, and operations teams.
Key Outcomes (First 12–18 Months)
Achieve AUM Growth Targets raise 100m$ of AUM in the next 12 months.
Maintain a Robust Pipeline of qualified prospects—institutions and crypto-native capital pools—documented in a best-practice CRM.
Elevate Market Visibility by securing thought-leadership placements at flagship allocator and digital-asset forums.
Embed Institutional-Grade Reporting with real-time funnel KPIs and regulator-ready communication logs.
Core Responsibilities
Strategy & Targeting – Design region-specific capital-raising plans; segment prospects by mandate fit and decision process (family offices, sovereign entities, digital-asset HNWIs, corporate or DAO treasuries, venture founders, EAMs, private banks).
Origination & Outreach – Activate your network and generate new leads through conferences, crypto events, warm referrals, private-bank platforms, EAMs, and select placement agents. It is important to note that having your own network is important for this role.
Pitch & Close – Articulate Hillroute’s quantitative edge and risk controls in allocator and crypto-founder language; manage objections; negotiate terms through subscription and capital call.
Investor Relations – Serve as primary contact for LPs: deliver timely reporting, host portfolio updates, and coordinate DDQs with internal teams.
Relationship Expansion – Identify upsell opportunities, convert co-investment interest into incremental commitments, and cross-sell future Hillroute products.
Market Intelligence – Track competitor activity, fee trends, and allocator preferences across TradFi and digital-asset ecosystems; refine positioning accordingly.
Compliance & Documentation – Maintain meticulous outreach records and due-diligence materials in partnership with the Compliance Officer.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven Capital-Raiser with 5–10 years’ experience securing assets for hedge funds, alternative managers, or tier-one private banks.
Understanding of the crypto market especially BTC, ETH and the narrative around how digital assets have become the go-to asset class for risk adjusted returns.
Deep, Dual-Track Network of GCC family offices, sovereign-linked entities, European wealth hubs and crypto-native capital sources—digital-asset HNWIs, entrepreneurs, venture investors, DAO/corporate treasuries.
Product Fluency in quantitative trading, derivatives, and digital-asset market structure; strong appetite for continuous learning.
Commercial Drive & Relationship Savvy—equally comfortable originating new prospects and deepening LP partnerships.
Clear Communicator able to distill complex strategies into concise, outcome-focused narratives.
Education – Bachelor’s/Master’s in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related; CFA/CAIA welcome but results outweigh credentials.
