About the Role:
At Hims & Hers, creative is a foundational optimization lever that is utilized across paid media campaigns. We have found that through rigorous and iterative testing, we are able to unpack what creative components, characteristics, and copy incite action and drive core business metrics. With an uncompromising approach to our brand identity, this balance of creative authenticity with innovative and iterative experimentation leads to a better and more informed customer experience as well as improved campaign performance.
Within the Growth Marketing team, we are looking for an experienced creative strategist to oversee and evolve our creative strategy across performance campaigns. You will develop best-in-class ads, manage evergreen experimentation, be accountable for improvements in conversion rate and revenue generation, provide a strong and consistent feedback loop with both internal and external XFNs, and ultimately drive stronger results for the business as we look to continue to scale our growth marketing efforts in both volume and efficiency. As the DRI within the organization, you will be design-oriented, data-driven, and relentless in prioritization to maximize performance effectiveness. The initial core focus will be on Paid Social channels where we have a high concentration of media investment (Meta, TikTok, Snap, Twitter, Reddit, etc.) with a goal of expanding across our portfolio of marketing channels.
Alongside key cross-functional partners (Product Marketing, Creative, Integrated Marketing, Legal, and Marketing Analytics), you will be an influential leader in how campaigns come to life and how they contribute to business goals.
You Will:
- Own creative strategy, employing a customer-first perspective while accounting for brand guidelines, legal/compliance requirements, campaign needs, category and product-level nuance, and performance effectiveness
- Define clear KPIs, objectives, and measurement plans to set expectations on improvements in conversion rate, run rate, and cost per acquisition
- In partnership with key stakeholders, design quarterly experimentation roadmaps by campaign objective for consistent learnings and ongoing efficiencies
- Share out key learnings on a biweekly basis with stakeholders
- Own and foster the relationships with creative agency partners, managing the briefing processes, ideation, and feedback loop as well as holding them accountable for performance, quality, and adherence to brand guidelines and compliance requirements
- Partner with the internal creative team on production needs, timelines, budgets, and shot lists
- Balance creative and strategic best practices for highly engaging and effective output
- Build tailored messaging frameworks that are aligned with Product Marketing strategies, including ideal customer profiles, product-market fit, value propositions, and additional research
- Partner with the media buying team to align ad journeys with channel strategies while incorporating best practices and historical learnings
- Connect with Integrated Marketing and Product Marketing creative teams for creative synergy across surfaces to ensure clear and cohesive branding and messaging in-market
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree
- 12+ years of experience in a marketing function, with 3+ years of experience in a creative strategy or performance marketing capacity
- Deep understanding of creative A/B testing
- Experience with a variety of paid social channels, particularly Meta
- Proven track record of driving measurable conversion or revenue results
- Experience working directly with creative team members across both internal and external agency teams
- Analytical mindset and ability to identify data-informed insights

Outlined below is a reasonable estimate of H&H’s compensation range for this role for US-based candidates. If you're based outside of the US, your recruiter will be able to provide you with an estimated salary range for your location.
The actual amount will take into account a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and location. H&H also offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package that may include an equity grant.

$230,000 - $265,000 USD
