About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced leader to scale the team that supports business operations for the Hims & Hers platform - a key pillar of the Hims & Hers growth strategy. Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategy & Operations, you will lead, grow, and inspire a team tasked with delivering key operational initiatives that improve the customer experience. Your team will determine and uncover opportunities for improvement, and then develop effective and scalable operational processes to ensure a world-class experience for both customers & providers. This role is highly collaborative and cross-functional; you will team with Product, Growth, Legal, Medical leadership, and others to provide strategy, vision, and direction for the business operations function at Hims & Hers.
You Will:
- Own complex problems: Build out and creatively scale the business operations team, leading day-to-day oversight and execution on both existing processes and driving initiatives to improve compliance, increase efficiencies, and deliver a seamless experience to customers.
- Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Legal, Product, Marketing, and Analytics to ensure that we continue developing innovative care models that deliver the highest quality clinical, patient-friendly care.
- Challenge status quo: Initiate and debate key strategic topics and opportunities from your team’s work, and drive bold high-impact decisions.
- Build for scale: identify, codify, and implement data-driven decision-making across each part of your team. Set clear goals for a growing team.
- Lead the organization by proactively identifying growth & optimization opportunities; collaborating cross functionally to structure, measure, execute, and scale; and driving adoption and knowledge at all levels of the organization.
- Build and lead a high performing, diverse, responsive team and maintain a culture of excellence, growth, and fun.
You Have:
- 12+ years of combined management consulting and growth startup experience, preferably in a GM or P&L management role at a high-growth DTC company or consumer marketplace
- 5+ years of experience hiring, managing, and developing high performing cross-functional teams
- Success in a highly strategic, analytical, and operations role within a rapidly growing company: balancing quantitative and qualitative inputs for rapid, accurate decision-making
- Results and growth oriented: Strong track record of ownership, of both setting clear goals and delivering on results
- Strong leadership capabilities and ability to initiate and maintain cross-functional relationships
- Prefer to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth and rapidly changing environment
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, multi-task and participate in team-based planning processes.
- A desire and track record of doing all of the above in a fully remote environment – ownership, accountability, humility, and humor a must.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills; experience presenting to senior, cross-functional, technical and non-technical stakeholders in easily understood formats
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors' degree in Business, Operations, Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Leadership experience in rapidly scaling consumer tech and/or digital health companies
