About the Role:
Join our team at Hims and Hers Health, Inc. (Hims & Hers) as an Infrastructure Support Engineer. We're a groundbreaking multi-specialty telehealth platform, revolutionizing healthcare accessibility. With a focus on operational technology, infrastructure, and facility hardware and software support you’ll be enhancing organizational growth and scalability capabilities. Your role directly impacts how we connect consumers to licensed healthcare professionals, making better health easily attainable. You should be a forward-thinking, innovative individual driven to identify updated tactics to traditional and/or complex problems.This role is onsite at our New Albany, Ohio Pharmacy and will report to the Director of Technology Operations.
You Will:
- Monitor all infrastructure systems and integrations to verify all are working correctly using DataDog
- Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of in-house information systems that support core organizational functions at Hims, including operations software, network infrastructure, virtual servers and services, and storage platforms
- Assist with DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) management
- Troubleshooting inefficiencies, analyzing logs and errors with all aspects of chosen, deployed, and/or staged hardware and software solutions, including problem escalations
- Adhere to and follow strict compliance standards including but not limited to: State Board of Pharmacy, HIPAA (when applicable), SOX, and/or PCI
- Maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) operations for Operational Technology (OT), manufacturing IoT, manufacturing and distribution software, and shipping and receiving platforms
- Build and maintain user-facing SOPs, best practice and hardening documentation, and other internal reference documentation
- Provide expert input for system patching schedules on a predictable cadence collaborating with various stakeholders, developers, and ops teams
- Stay updated with industry trends, adapting to telehealth's unique demands.
- Create and maintain standardized hardware options and application configuration for Operational teams to ease production implementation
- Expertise understanding manufacturing, distribution, and pharmaceutical software platforms
- Manage vendor relations in areas of technical expertise
- Manage solution licensing and support contracts
- Participate in on-call rotations responding to environment emergencies and incidents, reflecting our commitment to patient well-being
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify system improvements and address recurring issues
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related fields (preferred)
- 3+ years of infrastructure engineering experience
- Experience with pharmaceutical, manufacturing, distribution, PLC/HMI hardware and software
- Familiarity with network, security, servers & storage solutions
- Experience in technological auditing
- Understanding technological reliability in a healthcare manufacturing context
- Relevant certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Server+, ITIL Foundation, etc
- Proficiency in infrastructure monitoring, troubleshooting, and communication
- Proficiency in private and public cloud environments for third party managed solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills in healthcare innovation
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical personnel
- Experience with application/infrastructure diagraming software (e.g. Visio)
- Proficiency participating in a Change Management process

The actual amount will take into account a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and location. H&H also offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package that may include an equity grant.

An estimate of the current salary range is
$100,000 - $130,000 USD
