About the Role:
Hims & Hers is seeking a Legislative Analyst (non-lawyer) to join our growing, collaborative Legal team. The successful candidate will be a team player, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote work environment. This role will work with other members of the Legal team to support the Public Policy team’s advocacy on the company’s multi-state and federal legislative and regulatory strategy, covering a variety of subject matter areas impacting direct-to-consumer telehealth and pharmacy operations. This is a 100% remote, work-from-home role.
You Will:
- Research, monitor and analyze policy developments, legislation and regulations in all 50 states as well as the federal level to assess and identify potential impacts on the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Maintain and continuously update the organization’s tracking for all active bills and rule-makings affecting the business, as well as monitoring relevant activities by state regulatory and professional boards.
- Effectively communicate with Public Policy team members on any updates for bills, regulations and board activities.
- Develop a deep understanding of common policy issues impacting the business, including but not limited to aspects impacting care delivery through telehealth, pharmacy operations, artificial intelligence, and consumer health data privacy.
- Review Public Policy collateral and talking points to support a broad set of advocacy efforts and legislative outreach.
- Interact with external consultants, trade organizations, and other stakeholders regarding the impacts of various policy matters and initiatives.
You Have:
- A bachelors degree from an accredited undergraduate institution.
- At least two ( years of experience is required in one of the following (or similar) types of roles: a state or federal legislative role, a government relations / trade association position with direct legislative experience, or a state or federal health agency role with a focus on policy.
- Prior experience with legislative tracking software (State Net, Quorum, etc.) is preferred, or a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Healthcare-related policy experience, particularly in telehealth, digital health, pharmacy, or related regulatory experience.
- Collaborative mindset as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
- An interest in and ability to get up to speed quickly on complex policy issues impacting the company.
- Strong ability to manage a complex workload and shifting priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to distill and summarize regulatory developments.
- Resourceful, skilled self-starter with a team-oriented mindset and positive attitude.
- Willingness to travel 3-5 times per year for in-person team meetings and trade association events.

Outlined below is a reasonable estimate of H&H’s compensation range for this role for US-based candidates. If you're based outside of the US, your recruiter will be able to provide you with an estimated salary range for your location.
The actual amount will take into account a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and location. H&H also offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package that may include an equity grant.

An estimate of the current salary range is
$75,000 - $90,000 USD
