Research Consultant (Contractor)

This is a fully remote position. Eligibility is limited to individuals residing in the United States for the duration of the contract.

Founded in 2010, Hispanic Access Foundation (HAF) is a 501(c)(3) national nonprofit organization that connects Latinos with partners and opportunities to improve their lives and create an equitable society. Ultimately, we establish bridges of access that provide a path for the development and rise of Latino leaders and elevates their voices in areas where we are underrepresented. Our core values are trust, dedication, excellence, service to comunidad and versatility. While Washington, D.C. serves as our headquarters, employees work in a virtual environment.

Hispanic Access Foundation is launching its inaugural report that will provide a comprehensive analysis combining existing and newly collected polling data to explore the policy priorities, values, and perspectives of Latinos across the United States. The report will serve as a vital tool to inform policymakers, media, partners, and the organization’s own strategic direction.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Hispanic Access Foundation is seeking two research consultants to lead and support the development of a flagship national report that explores Latino perspectives, values, and policy priorities across the United States. Consultants will play a central role in shaping the research framework, analyzing data, and crafting compelling written content that reflects both quantitative findings and community-informed insights.

They will work closely with internal staff and external partners—such as polling firms, researchers, and community stakeholders—to ensure the final product is data-driven, culturally resonant, and strategically positioned for broad public engagement. Consultants will also collaborate with Hispanic Access’s communications and design teams to produce and publish a visually compelling, accessible, and high-impact report.

Content Development

  • Draft and refine key sections of the report in close collaboration with Hispanic Access staff.
  • Translate data into accessible, meaningful narrative content that combines statistical insights with qualitative perspectives from Latino communities.
  • Edit and review content for accuracy, readability, and alignment with organizational messaging, brand, and advocacy goals.

Design Collaboration

  • Support the development and review of data visualizations, infographics, and layout elements to enhance clarity and engagement.
  • Work closely with Hispanic Access’s communications and design teams to ensure the final product is visually appealing, inclusive, and accessible to a broad audience.
