Team Responsibilities (What Great Looks Like)

  • Own the outcome: Hit weekly activity and issued premium targets; treat the pipeline like mission-critical work.
  • Serve the client: Conduct needs analyses with empathy, recommend right‑fit products, and ensure policies are placed and persist.
  • Master the craft: Follow our sales playbook (open, probe, bridge, close), use compliant scripts, and iterate with coaching.
  • Operate with discipline: Maintain CRM hygiene daily (notes, dispositions, next steps) and manage calendar with precision.
  • Communicate like a pro: Debrief in standups, flag risks early, and share wins/lessons with the team.
  • Uphold compliance: Follow carrier/state regulations, protect data, and complete CE and licensing on time.
  • Be a teammate: Support peers, role-play regularly, and contribute to a winning culture.

Key Duties

  • Handle inbound/live-transfer calls and scheduled appointments from free lead allocation (initial ramp) and personal prospecting thereafter.
  • Qualify prospects, run needs analysis, and present tailored options (Simple Issue Whole Life, Term, FE riders, etc.).
  • Submit e‑apps cleanly; manage underwriting requirements, exams (if any), and follow-ups to close and place business.
  • Manage a tight follow‑up cadence (SMS/Email/Voice) using approved templates and sequences.
  • Track metrics: contact rate, set rate, show rate, close rate, AP submitted, AP issued, placement and persistency.
  • Attend daily/weekly coaching, mock calls, and KPI reviews; implement feedback immediately.
