About the Role:
We're looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team and play a critical role in optimizing digital revenue performance. In this multifaceted position, you'll lead initiatives that shape the future of our ad strategies, from managing high-impact A/B tests to driving cutting-edge monetization opportunities. You'll collaborate across teams, work closely with industry-leading partners, and stay on the pulse of the latest ad tech innovations. Responsibilities:
- Lead intelligence efforts on vendors and competitors, maintaining current insights on industry technologies, page layouts, monetization strategies, and partner programs. Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Oversee and operate A/B testing initiatives for webpage layouts, ad layouts, new technologies to evaluate and optimize performance. Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Grow and maintain vendor and competitor relationships, ensuring consistent revenue generation across our sites and up to date intel on opportunities and threats in the industry. Traveling for conferences, and joining task forces and committees in the industry as required.
- Run regular QA on our demand stack to identify and resolve discrepancies in KPIs, enforce quality standards, and ensure policy compliance
- Stay informed on updates to ad servers and proprietary tracking systems, and communicate relevant changes to internal teams.
- Traffic ad tags to vendors accurately and within required timelines.
- Maintain clear documentation of protocols and workflows.
- Coordinate with finance on invoicing matters as needed.
- Contribute and lead crossfunctional projects as assigned.
- Create and manage Private Marketplace (PMP) and Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) deals.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in digital media or ad tech, ideally within a leading SSP, DSP, exchange, or large-scale publisher/channel partner.
- 2+ years of experience in Ad Operations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
- Deep expertise in Google Ad Manager (GAM), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and Google Analytics (GA), with strong familiarity across Google’s advertising product suite.
- Hands-on experience with ad servers, SSPs, DSPs, DMPs, and programmatic platforms (e.g., Index Exchange, AOL, Google AdX).
- Strong command of monetization strategies at scale across both demand and supply sides, including advanced programmatic (Header Bidding, PMP, RTB, Video, Native) and alternative revenue streams (RSOC, Affiliate, Lead Gen, Syndication).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interfacing with internal stakeholders and external partners at all levels.
- Comprehensive understanding of the campaign lifecycle, including trafficking, QA, optimization, and performance analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with financial reconciliation processes related to advertising revenue and invoicing.
- Familiarity with additional analytics and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, BigQuery).
- Knowledge of ad policy compliance, creative approval workflows, and industry best practices in ad quality and user experience.
- Background in publisher development, yield optimization, or business development within the digital ad ecosystem.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives or corporate-level strategic projects.
