About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Collection Specialist to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the collections process for our DOOH business, ensuring timely payments from clients, maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to overall cash flow optimization. You’ll act as a bridge between the commercial, finance, and client success teams, helping Perion scale while maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle collections process ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding invoices.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding payment status, resolving disputes with professionalism and urgency.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Finance, Sales, and Account Management to resolve billing discrepancies or client concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of client communications, payment schedules, and outstanding balances in the company’s CRM and financial platforms.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and status updates on collections performance, aged receivables, and risk analysis when required
- Monitor client credit limits and payment behaviour, flagging any potential risks to Finance and Sales.
- Help develop and improve collections procedures and tools as the company continues to scale.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in accounts receivable or collections, preferably in the advertising, media, or technology industry.
- Extended experience in handling complex operations, including global and multi-currency transactions.
- Ability to interpret contracts and ensure accurate invoicing.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills; ability to maintain positive client relationships while ensuring payment compliance.
- Proficiency in financial tools and platforms (NetSuite or similar), and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-functional teams.
