About the Role
We are looking for an Engineer to join our Preconstruction team in our regional office in Phoenix, AZ. This is a full-time, in-person position.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and understand construction design documents and specifications.
- Perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work.
- Manage cost and design issues throughout project phases.
- Coordinate and manage trades, with exposure to BIM processes.
- Oversee all purchasing required to support projects, including scope coordination, proposal evaluation, trade negotiations, and contracting.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related construction/engineering field.
- 2–5 years of experience in construction management, preconstruction, or estimating.
- Outstanding communication and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and scheduling software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to relocate.
