Maintenance Technician
Madison Heights, MI Grow
Responsible for performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment. Their duties include fixing machinery, plumbing, heating and wiring, inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards and scheduling major repairs.

- Executing the day-to-day maintenance work at the facility, including:
- Installing and upgrading equipment
- Repairs and maintenance of equipment
- Cleaning equipment based on company and manufacture recommendations
- Performs general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment and grounds. Working under close supervision, assists in monitoring building system operations and performance. Utilizes several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.
- Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
- Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repair records as required.
- Assists with installation and modification of building equipment systems.
- Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include: plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC.
- Inspects new installation for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.

About You:
General
- Regulations require that incumbent be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain medical marijuana work credentials – applicable marijuana licensing regulations may disqualify individuals with certain criminal convictions.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years’ experience or training
Technological Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Professional demeanor, strong work ethic
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
