The Creative Producer is a key production lead on Home Chef’s Marketing team, responsible for leading execution of photo and video content across digital and social platforms including Linear (Broadcast and OTT), Meta (Instagram + Facebook), TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Snapchat. This role brings creative concepts—developed by the brand and creative teams—to life through efficient, high-quality production.
Working closely with senior creative leadership, the Creative Producer manages the content creation pipeline from pre-production planning to post-production delivery. This person is fluent in both still and motion photography production, highly organized, and skilled at translating creative direction into platform-optimized assets.
Detailed Responsibilities
Production Execution
- Lead all phases of content production—including scheduling, filming, and editing—for approved concepts
- Translate creative briefs and direction from the Creative Director or Content Lead into polished, on-brand assets
- Ensure content meets spec and best practices for Linear, TikTok, Meta, Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging platforms
- Coordinate freelance creatives and post vendors as needed to scale production
Branded Partnership Production
- Lead execution of video and still photo content for brand collaborations (e.g., Home Chef x Half Baked Harvest), ensuring deliverables meet partner and internal requirements
- Scope, onboard, and manage external freelance teams, including videographers, photographers, and editors
- Own pre-production, production logistics, and post-delivery for partner-related shoots
- Act as point of contact between Home Chef’s internal stakeholders and external production teams to ensure brand alignment and on-time delivery
Performance Marketing Support
- Lead pre-production, production logistics and post-delivery for quick-turnaround video assets within Home Chef’s internal performance marketing studio
- Film and edit performance-focused content offsite or in the in-house studio based on creative briefs
- Reformat and adapt existing assets for testing and promotional variations
Support content needs for paid social, email, and digital placements as needed
Platform & Content Trends
- Stay up to date on platform algorithms, trends, and visual styles
Apply these insights when executing creative concepts to ensure content relevance and engagement
Collaboration & Brainstorms
- Attend regular cross-functional brainstorms to align on campaign priorities, content needs, and creative direction
Communicate timing and feasibility of production deliverables during planning discussions
Studio Support
- Partner with the in-house food content creator/stylist to maintain studio equipment and prop inventory
- Ensure the studio is production-ready and properly resourced for shoots
This position requires 0-10% travel.

- Completion of a 4-year degree program in a related field (see Education below)

Home Chef offers the base salary range as posted below, with the exact offer depending on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, and internal equity. While compensation is within the provided range, it is not typical for offers to be made at the upper end. In addition to base salary, Home Chef provides a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare coverage, 401k match, and paid time off.
Illinois Pay Range
$65,000 - $75,000 USD
