
On-Site Associate Recruiter
The Plant Associate Recruiter is responsible for leading the recruitment of on-site production, quality and warehouse positions. The Plant Associate Recruiter is responsible for assisting with the full cycle recruiting, including the onboarding of new hires. The Plant Associate Recruiter responsibilities include conducting initial screenings, scheduling interviews, and making hiring decisions for hourly roles.
Detailed Responsibilities
Recruiting
- Assists our search for top talent for open positions at the facility.
- Recruits active and passive candidates from various resources, including campus activities, Internet job boards, social media and employee referrals.
- Develops relationships with prospective hires, providing a positive first impression of Home Chef.
- Assists location in the hiring process for open positions, including interviewing and screening applicants both over the phone and in person.
- Ensures accurate, professional and timely candidate communications .
- Follows up on interviewees, interview panels, and sends offers to selected candidates
- Monitors and applies HR recruiting best practices.
- Maintains Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in up-to-date and in an organized fashion
- Collaborate with other recruiters, helping recruit for other locations as required
Onboarding
- Follows Home Chef practices for the onboarding process, including escalating or resolving candidate questions related to I-9 verification, background checks, and incomplete documents
- Enters correct information into HRIS for new hire(s), as necessary
General Responsibilities
- Follow the facility GMPs and help enforce them throughout the facility
- Support the efforts of the company to maintain our food safety system (SQF) and quality programs.
This position requires 0-5% travel.

- Up to one year of post-high school training such as in a business school, community college or vocational training.
- Proficient in MS Office & Google Suite Applications; including Sheets, Slides, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Detail oriented with a focus on quality results
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high caliber and dynamic environment
- Good organizational skills and time management are a must
