About the work:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in Leesburg, Virginia as the In-Market Nurse Educator . This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about education, quality of care, and community impact. Your Impact:

The In-Market Nurse Educator is responsible for providing comprehensive education and training to caregivers on lift and transfer techniques, as well as other essential personal care skills. Serving as a clinical resource within the market, this role involves fostering strong relationships with local office staff and in-market caregivers to ensure optimal care delivery.

  • Promote Quality of Care: Ensure the highest standards of care are met by conducting in-home observation visits, managing performance evaluations, and supporting ongoing competency development for Care Pros.
  • Onboarding and Documentation: Oversee elements of the local Care Pro onboarding process assessing care competencies. Educate employees and Care Pros on legal and regulatory requirements, reinforcing compliance and operational excellence.
  • Content Creation & Delivery: Inform, author and implement ongoing training initiatives for caregivers and administrative/HQ staff. 

 

To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Bring:

  • Valid Virginia RN license or a multi-state compact license that permits practice in Virginia.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory standards and experience in training and evaluation of Care Pros.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in relationship building with caregivers, administrative staff and clients. 
  • Ability to work independently and maintain flexibility for site visits and occasional evenings/weekends.
  • Passionate about our mission and quality of care for the senior community.

Additional Requirements of the Role:

  • Pass a background check including a records check by the Virginia State Police.
  • Ability to commute to the office and client sites (Leesburg and Manassas, Virginia area) 3-4x per week

Our range reflects the hiring range for this position.  We use national average to determine pay as we are a remote first company.  Individual pay is based on a number of factors including qualifications, skills, experience, education, and training.

Base pay is just a part of our total rewards program.  Honor offers equity and 401K with up to a 4% match.  We provide medical, dental and vision coverage including zero cost plans for employees.  Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability and Life Insurance are fully employer paid with a voluntary additional Life Insurance option.  We offer a generous time off program, mental health benefits, wellness program, and discount program.

Hiring Salary Range

$75,600 - $87,000 USD
