Who You Are
We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Escrow Post-Closer to join our team. This role is essential to the final stages of the escrow process, ensuring that transactions are accurately and efficiently completed after closing.
As an Escrow Post-Closer, you’ll be responsible for handling time-sensitive and compliance-driven tasks such as preparing and processing outgoing wires, verifying disbursement approvals, coordinating the recording of documents with county offices, and issuing final title policies. You’ll also manage original closing documents and FedEx deliveries, sign checks, and ensure all post-closing steps are completed accurately and on time.
What You'll Do Here
- Execute wires, verify bank account details, and ensure compliance with two-party approval processes for escrow disbursements
- Sign and process escrow disbursement checks and manage final escrow accounting
- Coordinate document recording and oversee the issuance of title policies
- Identify and organize critical mortgage and lender documents, such as notes, deeds, and recordable items
- Process and manage original documents, including delivery and return via FedEx and internal tracking systems
- Collaborate with escrow officers and team members to ensure timely and accurate post-closing activities
- Support cross-training initiatives and contribute to process improvements for this new combined role
You Have
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in escrow, post-closing, or mortgage operations
- Strong knowledge of mortgage documents, including promissory notes, deeds of trust, security instruments, and recordable items
- Experience handling escrow disbursements, including wiring funds and following compliance procedures
- Familiarity with title policy issuance and document recording workflows
- Prior experience as an Escrow Assistant or Post Closer is required
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
