Product Manager

About the Role

Part of Home Solutions, Neighborhood Alerts launched in 2023 to provide homeowners with timely information about things happening in their neighborhood – including lost pets, home sales, building permits pulled, nearby crime, and new restaurants and bars. The platform has scaled to over 10M users, sending 200M personalized alerts each month - and counting! 

Neighborhood Alerts is looking for a dynamic and driven Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of our platform's features and functionality. As part of a small, scrappy team, this role will be responsible for defining and executing the product roadmap, working closely with the engineering team to deliver solutions that drive user engagement and business growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in product management, a passion for user-centric design, and a strong ability to translate business needs into actionable product requirements.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Define and prioritize the product roadmap for Neighborhood Alerts, focusing on features that improve user experience, drive growth and enable monetization.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, monetization, and partner teams to ensure seamless execution of product initiatives.
  • Conduct market research, user interviews, and data analysis to identify new opportunities and inform product decisions.
  • Develop detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide the development team.
  • Manage the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.
  • Monitor key product metrics and performance post-launch, iterating on features to continuously improve user satisfaction and engagement.
  • Act as a product champion, communicating product vision, strategy, and updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Gather feedback from users, stakeholders, and team members to inform future product development and improvements.
  • Balance user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals to make data-driven decisions.

About You

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably within digital platforms or technology-driven businesses.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to make informed product decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
  • Experience with digital marketing, primarily email and affiliate marketing.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools.
  • A passion for building user-centric products and solving complex problems.
  • Familiarity with user research, UX/UI best practices, and data analytics.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in the face of ambiguity; comfort in a fast-paced and often-changing environment that values judgment over rules.
