About the Role:

We’re looking for a Senior or Staff AI Product Engineer to join our high-impact engineering team and help shape the future of our AI-powered solutions and upskill thousands of people across the world. You’ll work closely with product, design, and other engineers to rapidly experiment on new AI products and features, integrating LLMs and other technologies to delight our customers. You’ll work to bring them to production quickly and then gather feedback for your next iteration. You’ll work on a small but mighty remote-first team and be a key contributor to enabling our team to push into the next set of our AI product line. Along the way, you’ll mentor, advise, and build with the rest of the team as we all learn together.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have a strong product mindset, a desire to independently own and drive products from inception to launch even in the face of ambiguity, and an excitement to drive human connection in the workplace. You’ll get the opportunity to not just grow yourself but have a direct hand in helping thousands of people grow, lead, and live better lives at work. Along the way, you’ll get the benefit of being at a small startup - moving across the stack and working wherever is most impactful. We can’t wait to see what you build!

You will:

  • Integrate AI platform APIs across our product line - both internally and externally
  • Develop and refine LLM prompt chains and agents to meet the customer’s needs and expectations
  • Create eval systems to fine tune our agents to better suit the needs of our customers
  • Work on major product initiatives end to end, from design and prototyping to production
  • Contribute to technical discussions, roadmap planning, and mentoring across the organization

You are ideal for this role if you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in software development in a dynamic programming language (We use Python and React)
  • Experience working with LLMs in production
  • Experience in prompt engineering, RAG engineering, and AI agent building
  • Desire and experience working with product and design to iteratively build features
  • Desire to work across the stack - moving to wherever the most impactful work is
  • A proven track record of independent project ownership and getting features to production

Some projects you might work on include:

  • Building personalization into our AI products
  • Adding our AI products to slack integrations to meet our learners where they are
  • Improving the user interface for our AI sessions
  • Building eval systems to ensure the reliability of our AI agents

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
