About the role

Your role as our Community & Events Manager is to cultivate our unique community, develop and execute on programming strategy, and bring to life incredible events for members virtually and in person. 

We run virtual workshops and in-person events to help senior product and engineering leaders learn from their peers. Our topics cover 5 pillars of leadership: stakeholder management, organizational management, performance management, you & your career, and AI.

We organize thematic virtual and IRL conversations to help drive learning across these various topics. The intent of each event is for our members to walk away with insights they can implement in their day-to-day, and build 2-3 new connections. 

Responsibilities

  • Craft the Hone community strategy to build a highly engaged and valuable community. 
  • Find speakers and identify topics for our virtual programming (approx 3/month) 
  • Work with partners to organize dinners and IRL panels in SF and NYC. 
  • Lead welcome calls with new members and talk with existing members, to educate them on our offering and identify relevant programming topics. 
  • Manage our Slack channel to keep members engaged and sharing 
  • Write compelling event descriptions, and promote our events to members and prospects — in our newsletter, our online community, and on LinkedIn.
  • Draft agendas for our workshops, collaborating with our workshop facilitators to ensure successful events that deliver insightful, practical knowledge and rich conversations.
  • Manage and track member and prospect engagement with our events, with the goal of creating a more engaging and successful event program over time.
  • Lead and educate potential new Enrich members on the value of the community.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 6+ years of work experience
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented - you’re the friend who plans the trip and organizes the group.
  • Clear communicator with strong writing skills.
  • Experience in or demonstrated familiarity with the tech industry, and an understanding of product and engineering functions
  • Customer-centric and comfortable interacting with executives daily.
  • Comfortable with tools like Airtable, Hubspot, Slack, Notion, and WhatsApp. Can self-start with new tools.
  • Jack of all trades energy - we’re a small team, so everyone plays a role!
  • Comfortable with AI workflows and creating AI automations.

  • This is a full-time role, based in San Francisco, with full benefits (health insurance, dental, unlimited PTO, etc.)

Pay Range: $120k-$140k plus benefits

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects a range that the company reasonably expects to pay for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by a variety of job-related factors that may include location, skills, experience, relevant education, training, and travel.
