The Role
Hone is looking for a Director of Application Configuration Management to join our team. In this role, you will train under the VP of Operations and ultimately report into the COO. As we have grown, our core applications have become increasingly complex and are largely driven by a wide variety of configurations. We are looking for a motivated, scrappy, detail-oriented, highly organized and tech-savvy individual to help us evolve our configuration management practices. We need someone who will first understand and define our end-to-end configuration capabilities and then build and maintain the processes and infrastructure to support ongoing rapid deployment of new configurations as we introduce new medications and products to our platform.
Primary Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Continuously evaluate and refine configuration management processes, seeking opportunities for optimization and automation.
- Lead and mentor a team of configuration management specialists (currently one person), providing guidance, training, and support.
- Build the knowledge base that outlines all of Hone’s internal systems configuration capabilities.
- Build and manage the process that governs implementation of new configurations for newly introduced products/medications.
- Build and manage a change control process that governs ongoing updates to configurations for current products/medications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date configuration documentation for all applicable systems
- Collaborate with various departments, including IT, engineering, product/project management, operations, customer care, and clinical/medical to ensure effective communication and alignment as it pertains to new or changing system configurations.
- Evaluate, select, and manage configuration management tools and technologies.
Qualifications
In order to qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering) and extensive experience (8+ years) in configuration management, IT operations, or equivalent experience in a related area.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively leading a team and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of configuration management principles, processes, and tools, as well as IT infrastructure and systems.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to address configuration-related issues.
- Experience with project management methodologies and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adhere to deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Can quickly learn new technology systems and communication tools.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
Compensation Range
$135,000-$155,000
