Director of Operations

Los Angeles CA

About Us:
Honeylove is a leading women’s shapewear brand known for its commitment to quality, comfort, and inclusivity. Our mission is to provide women with products that empower them to feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Director of Operations to join our growing Operations team. The ideal candidate is a strategic operator with deep logistics experience, strong team leadership, and a proven track record of scaling fulfillment systems in fast-paced DTC environments. We operate with a lean, talented team that values clarity, accountability, and smart execution. If you're motivated by scaling systems, solving complex problems, and driving results through data and collaboration, you’ll thrive here.

Job Overview:
The Director of Operations at Honeylove is responsible for the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of our fulfillment and logistics operations—ensuring seamless product flow from factory to customer. This includes oversight of both domestic and international fulfillment, inventory management, warehouse partnerships, and last-mile delivery. This role also leads our operations team, drives cross-functional collaboration, and manages vendor performance with a strategic eye toward long-term scalability. The Director reports directly to the VP of Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations & Fulfillment Oversight:
    • Oversee domestic and international fulfillment and returns operations
    • Manage 3PL partnerships, including performance reviews, planning, and contract negotiations
    • Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and build long-term solutions to ensure accurate reflection of physical inventory in all digital systems
    • Refine and oversee SOPs across fulfillment centers (FIFO, put-away, cycle counts)
    • Ensure timely and accurate receipt of inventory throughout systems to mitigate stockout risks
  • Cross-Functional & Strategic Collaboration:
    • Deliver accurate daily and monthly inbound and outbound forecasts to 3PLs in partnership with Planning and Production
    • Support continuous product quality improvement through customer feedback and partnership with Customer Experience and Garment Development teams
    • Drive the operations roadmap in collaboration with Engineering, including tooling and system integrations
    • Run operational cadences (e.g., EBRs, OKRs) and contribute to cross-functional goal setting
    • Monitor inventory levels and movement for operational accuracy; partner with Finance to support monthly close and reporting needs
  • Process Optimization & Reporting:
    • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost savings, efficiency, and scalability
    • Develop and own dashboards and reporting for fulfillment, shipping, and operational KPIs
    • Maintain organized documentation and shared tools across Ops systems
  • Team Leadership & Culture:
    • Lead team meetings (standups, syncs), set clear KPIs, and foster a culture of ownership and urgency
    • Build and manage a high-performing operations team with clear roles, KPIs, and development plans

Success in this role will be measured across a set of key metrics including, but not limited to:

  • Order accuracy and on-time fulfillment rate
  • Inventory variance and in-stock rate
  • Fulfillment cost savings per unit (without compromising vendor performance metrics)
  • Percentage of core workflows automated
  • 3PL SLA adherence and issue resolution speed
  • Management of broader Ops team performance against core KPIs

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in eCommerce, logistics, or fulfillment operations; apparel or DTC a plus
  • Experience managing global 3PLs and driving performance across SLAs and cost targets
  • Experience with inventory, warehouse, and order management systems; NetSuite preferred
  • Deep understanding of inventory management best practices, physical reconciliation, and warehouse operations
  • Proficient in operational tools, reporting and root cause analysis (Excel/Sheets, Sigma, or similar platforms)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong bias for action, data-driven decision-making, and comfort operating in ambiguity

Why Work With Us?
At Honeylove, we value creativity, innovation, and teamwork. Joining our team means contributing to a brand that celebrates women’s strength and individuality. We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for growth in an exciting, fast-paced industry. If you are passionate about innovation, operational excellence, and making a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you!
