Job Summary:
The SAP Coordinator will collect, validate, investigate, and reconcile documentation, inventory discrepancies, and perform transactions within the SAP system.
This role is located in Vernon, NY with working hours of Sunday through Thursday 8:00 pm - 4:30 am.
We are unable to offer relocation or sponsorship assistance for this position at this time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Proficiently use of various computer programs (MS Office - Excel, Work, SAP-S4HANA, EWM etc.) to compile information and create reports.
• Collect and validate inbound documentation from the production floor, laboratory, and manufacturing offices to ensure accurate and timely postings in SAP.
• Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies by collaborating with production and operations teams; resolve issues using SAP’s transaction codes and reporting tools.
• Perform daily transaction in SAP of goods issue and good receipts of semi-finished and finished goods. Also perform timely inventory adjustments for SFG products in SAP as needed.
• Daily transactions entries and management of the SAP Bulk Silo Cockpit for semi-finished goods (milk, DWPC, skim, cream, buttermilk, UF Skim, Sour cream, Greek Yogurt and Cottage Cheese).
• Execute and oversee inventory counts for packaging materials, dry ingredients in ambient PSA as well as finished goods; perform cycle count adjustments directly in SAP EWM.
• Assist Warehouse with timely stock reconciliations and adjustments in both S/4HANA and EWM to maintain inventory accuracy and system integrity.
• Ensure documentation aligns with regulatory and quality standards, including SQF, SMETA, and requirements from the Market Administrator.
• Collaborate with the PI team to stay current on system interfaces, technical updates, and System-related issue resolutions.
• Assist with closing of process orders in SAP as needed.
• Support SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.
• Work overtime, as needed, which will require an obligation from you to fulfill.
• Train and cross train when necessary.
• Understand and follow all safety procedures, always wear proper PPE, and never put yourself or other employees in harm’s way.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required, associate degree a plus.
• Knowledge of dairy processes and dairy compositions preferred.
• Experience in inventory control processes and systems in a manufacturing setting highly preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
• Excellent communication – verbal and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Able to apply moderate mathematical concepts to sufficiently handle job tasks.
• Able to anticipate and solve routine problems.
• Capable of handling time sensitive assignments simultaneously with strong sense of urgency.
• Able to handle confidential information and communications.
• Able to work independently and confidently within established procedures.
• Maintain a safe work environment at all times and immediately report and take appropriate action to correct a safety concern.
