Job Summary:
The Senior Administrative Assistant will provide support and service to ensure customer, team member and vendor satisfaction. The Senior Administrative Assistant does this by balancing inventory of supplies (semi-finished/finished goods) used for the Vernon Plant location.
This role is located in Vernon, NY with working hours of Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Goods issuing and goods receipts (GI/GR) of semi-finished/finished goods in SAP/EWM/Bulk Receiving Cockpit used in the production/manufacturing processes.
• Maintain daily data entry of the following processes: inventory adjustment, inventory scraps, daily production, UF skim, sludge, and DWPC.
• Maintain monthly data entry reporting for the following processes: UF skim reporting and Market Administrator (MA) state reporting, to include but not limited to fruit sheets, stock pick sheets, manufacturing plant reports, daily inventory sheets and daily production sheets.
• Assist with internal and external audits as necessary.
• TECO final delivery of semi-finished and finished goods and process error report for review and reconciliation.
• Backup to production planning.
• Attend all required meetings and trainings assigned by your supervisor and required by the company.
• Maintain office security by following visitor procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor spreadsheet, and create/monitor badge access for employees and visitors).
• Proficiently use various computer programs (Excel, Word, EWM, Bulk Receiving Cockpit, SAP, etc.) to compile information and create reports.
• Ability to train and back up other Sr. Administrative Assistants.
• Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing.
• Work overtime, as needed, which will require an obligation from you to fulfill.
• Understand and follow all safety procedures, always wear proper PPE, and never put yourself or other employees in harm’s way.
• Support SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.
• Carry out all additional duties assigned by supervisor or management.
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in inventory control processes and purchase order systems in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in financial/accounting processes a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
• Excellent communication – verbal and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Able to apply moderate mathematical concepts to sufficiently handle job tasks.
• Able to anticipate and solve routine problems.
• Capable of handling time sensitive assignments simultaneously with strong sense of urgency.
• Able to handle confidential information and communications.
• Able to work independently and confidently within established procedures.
• Ability to handle wide range of administrative and support-related tasks involving clerical, administrative function, research, and data entry.
• Maintain a safe work environment at all times and immediately report and take appropriate action to correct a safety concern.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.
The pay range for this position is
$22.45 - $25.48 USD
