Configuration Management / Sys Admin (Archer IRM Support)

Location: Remote

Overview: Horizon Industries Limited (Horizon) is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to provide remote support to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). This is a full-time position focused on system and application-level administration of the Archer IRM Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) application. The successful candidate will be responsible for sustaining, patching, upgrading, and supporting security compliance for the Archer IRM platform and associated infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform operational sustainment of the Archer IRM COTS application from a system/application-level perspective.

  • Conduct Windows Server and IIS administration, including patching and migrations to current OS versions.

  • Address STIGs and ACAS vulnerability findings by performing remediations and documenting resolutions.

  • Support PKI certificate submissions and renewals within the DoD environment.

  • Assist with patching and upgrading the Archer IRM application and maintaining application compatibility.

  • Capture and provide required artifacts to support CM, RMF, and ATO efforts.

  • Maintain configuration control records, baselines, and technical documentation.

  • Work closely with quality assurance and management to ensure well-documented product baselines.

  • Facilitate or participate in audits and change request reviews, providing technical assessment of impact on the configuration baseline and logistics support elements.

Minimum Experience:

  • Five (5) years of experience in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology).

  • Experience maintaining systems that track modifications to hardware, software, or documentation.

  • Experience supporting configuration audits, control boards, and baseline identification.

Required Qualifications:

  • Recent Windows Server and IIS administration experience

  • Experience with PKI certificate submissions/renewals within a DoD environment

  • Experience patching/upgrading COTS applications, preferably Archer IRM

  • Experience addressing STIGs and ACAS findings, with demonstrated remediation practices

  • Familiarity with RMF processes, and experience capturing compliance artifacts

  • Active DLA-approved Cybersecurity Computing Environment (CE) IAT III level certification (must be valid for M-Token access)

Approved IAT III Certifications Include (one required):

  • AWS Certified Security

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect/Administrator

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)

  • GIAC Certified Windows Security Administrator

  • RSA Archer 6 Certification

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Archer IRM or other governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platforms

Clearance & Sensitivity Level:

  • Position Sensitivity: Non-Critical Sensitive (Formerly IT-II or IT-2)

  • Investigation Requirement: Must possess a favorable Tier 3 (T3) NACLC/ANACI at time of proposal submission

Salary range: $100,000 - $110,000.
