Program Overview

This role supports Horizon’s delivery of Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solutions on the ServiceNow platform, including the Policy & Compliance, Risk, Audit, and Vendor Risk sub-modules. The work involves implementing, configuring, and enhancing IRM capabilities while ensuring seamless integration with other ServiceNow modules and client systems.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design and deliver scalable solutions, and apply best practices in governance, compliance, and risk management. The role also includes supporting platform sustainment, user adoption, and optimization efforts across client environments.


Duties of a ServiceNow Consultant may include but are not limited to:

  • Implementing, configuring, and customizing the ServiceNow IRM module (Policy & Compliance, Risk, Audit, Vendor Risk).

  • Working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver scalable configurations.

  • Developing custom workflows, business rules, script includes, notifications, ACLs, and integrations.

  • Conducting gap analyses and recommending platform enhancements to meet business risk and compliance needs.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with other ServiceNow modules (ITSM, SecOps, GRC, HAM/SAM, etc.).

  • Ensuring data quality and integrity within the IRM module by applying governance and best practices.

  • Providing end-user training, creating documentation, and supporting UAT for new or enhanced functionalities.

  • Staying current with the latest ServiceNow releases and IRM capabilities, recommending adoption where beneficial.


Required Skills / Experience

  • 4+ years of overall ServiceNow platform experience.

  • Strong implementation and support experience in at least one IRM sub-module (Policy & Compliance, Risk, Audit, Vendor Risk).

  • Proficiency in ServiceNow configuration (forms, tables, workflows, ACLs, reports, dashboards).

  • Solid understanding of IRM/GRC frameworks, compliance standards, and risk methodologies.

  • Experience integrating ServiceNow IRM with third-party tools (e.g., Archer, external compliance systems).

  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and Scripted REST APIs.

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow best practices, upgrade processes, and performance optimization.

  • Strong communication skills for stakeholder and team interactions.


Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Risk and Compliance.

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.


Location:

Remote.

Employment Type:

Full-time (1 year+ contract, with potential extension).

 

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $150,000.
