Duties of a TOPM
- Serves as the project manager for a large, complex task order (or a group of task orders affecting the same system) while working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel, and customer agency representatives.
- Under the guidance of the Government management personnel, responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner.
- The role is to manage the Defense Business System (DBS) Life Cycle Management: Acquisition, Sustainment, Maintenance, and Technical Support.
- The TOPM will work with the COR and the government management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have Project Management certification (i.e., Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, or other equivalent nationally recognized certification)
- Ten (10) years of project management or other relevant experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
- Ten (10) years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in an information technology-related field with ten (10) years of relevant experience.
- The TOPM must have experience managing productivity and management methods such as Quality Assurance, Progress/status reporting, and Program Reviews at the Task Order level.
- Provide the centralized administrative, clerical, documentation, and related functions
