The role:
Engine is a hyper growth company seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Internal Communications Manager. Reporting to the CMO, this person will be responsible for internal communications across verbal, written, and visual touchpoints. Collaborating with senior leaders from functions across the business, this person will own our internal communications efforts, including weekly All Hands and quarterly Town Hall meetings.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter and determined communications expert ready to enhance the employee experience and drive clarity as we scale rapidly.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Elevate internal communications strategy to support team experience, productivity, transparency, and alignment
- Develop, implement, and enforce internal communications guidelines
- Run All Hands and Town Hall meetings from strategy to planning to design and facilitation
- Serve as an advisor to senior and executive leadership teams to help individuals and collective groups better communicate with their teams and the wider org
- Ensure employee communications align with brand voice and corporate messaging
- Own employer branding and messaging efforts
- Support the org with change management
- Drive in-person connection across satellite offices
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a dedicated internal communications role.
- Experience running internal communications for a mid-sized B2B software company.
- Proven track record in managing employee communications.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong slide creation and animation skills, video skills a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
