As a Senior Account Manager, Mid-Market you will be responsible for helping our Mid-Market customer base realize the full potential of our product by driving spend, retention and adoption of the platform.  In this role you will be assigned a set list of customers and be responsible for leveraging the full scope of company products and services to deliver business solutions that drive customer value.  

Your Mission:
As part of the Engine team, you’ll play a vital role in an environment where innovation meets collaboration. Here’s what you’ll take charge of: 

  • Proactively identify new revenue opportunities by hunting within your existing account base to generate business and consistently exceed quota.
  • Drive growth and customer success by upselling within your dedicated book of business and ensuring maximum product adoption to increase value.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills by excelling in research, analysis, and presentation during customer-focused Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Strategically plan and execute account growth by designing a comprehensive business plan that includes cross-selling and targeted strategies to drive adoption and engage decision-makers.
  • Ensure smooth transitions and effective onboarding by facilitating the hand-off of key accounts from sales to account management, collaborating closely with Account Executives.
  • Present a compelling value proposition by positioning our expertise within the unmanaged travel space to showcase our solutions effectively.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to drive customer outcomes by working closely with teams such as business operations, member support, marketing, and more.
  • Become a trusted subject matter expert by acquiring in-depth, accurate knowledge of the platform and the industry to support customers effectively.
  • Maintain strong performance by consistently meeting or exceeding daily KPI requirements to drive results and maintain operational excellence.

What You’ll Bring to Engine:
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an impact and grow alongside us:

  • Minimum 2 years of account management experience in a B2B organization 
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit, takes initiative and adapts to changing demands. 
  • Brings a positive attitude and energy to work every day.  
  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, Gong or similar sales technologies   
  • Ability to drive a consultative sales approach to improve retention and capture additional opportunities within current customer base   
  • Strong organizational skills with a track record of retaining and expanding existing customer base   
  • Experience in utilizing tech stack to identify trends in customer account usage    
  • Strong business acumen to partner with our customers to drive solutions to their business problems  

Cash compensation:
The base salary for this role is starting at a $75,000 base with $35,000 variable for an OTE of $110,000 with upside potential based on performance. Final compensation packages are determined by various factors, including prior experience and expertise.
