Inbound Group Sales Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Inbound Group Sales Manager to join our growing Groups team. In this role, you will play an essential part in generating revenue by converting high volume inbound inquiries and leads into group bookings. As the first point of contact for many of our prospective clients, you will use your exceptional communication and sales skills to guide potential clients through the sales process, advocate for their needs, and close deals that drive business growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Inbound Lead Management:
    • Respond to and manage high volume inbound inquiries for group bookings, ensuring timely and personalized follow-ups.
    • Qualify inbound leads and assess their needs to determine the best solutions for their group requirements.
  • Drive Revenue Growth:
    • Close group booking opportunities by presenting tailored solutions, upselling, and cross-selling additional services and features.
    • Consistently achieve and exceed sales KPIs, converting inbound leads into successful bookings.
  • Customer Advocacy:
    • Be the advocate for your clients both internally and externally, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
    • Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering repeat business opportunities.
  • Proposal & Presentation Development:
    • Create and present customized proposals, highlighting the unique features, amenities, and services that align with the client’s group travel needs.
    • Leverage your deep knowledge of our offerings to demonstrate value and differentiate our services from competitors.
  • Pipeline Management & Follow-Up:
    • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of inbound opportunities, ensuring effective follow-up and communication throughout the sales process.
    • Utilize CRM tools to track lead status, forecast opportunities, and ensure timely follow-ups.
    • Strong ability to own your business and forecast accurately.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with teams across sourcing, marketing, contracting, and leadership to ensure seamless execution of group bookings from start to finish.
    • Work closely with the project management team to ensure smooth transitions from booking to event execution.
  • Market Awareness:
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
    • Be the go-to expert on presenting our value proposition in the unmanaged travel market.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of B2B/B2C sales experience, ideally in hospitality or group travel sales, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Inbound sales expertise, with the ability to convert warm leads into closed deals using consultative and solution-based selling techniques.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to create tailored proposals and presentations that align with client needs.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for helping businesses optimize their group travel.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple leads, opportunities, and relationships at once.
  • Comfort and confidence with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads and track sales activities.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a knack for identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell to existing clients.
  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Builders and change agents - people who care about improving and optimizing  processes and will drive initiatives in doing so

Up to 5% travel may be required, depending on client needs and business requirements.
