We are looking for an exceptional person to join our team as an Associate

As an Associate, you will implement day-to-day integrated comms activities, carrying out most of the campaign execution and administration, usually reporting to an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager. You and your fellow teammates will be the engine of the client campaign, driving activities with determination and enthusiasm to deliver results that will make an impact for the client’s business, and make your team shine.

Daily, you will:

  • Be the eyes and ears of your clients’ industries, ensuring your account teams are up to speed on what’s happening across the wider sector
  • Build your media and sector knowledge and develop integrated comms skills
  • Participate in client calls, owning specific programs such as media, analyst or influencer relations
  • Communicate with clients – on the phone, by email and in person
  • Deliver analytics reports and include valuable insights to drive strategy and results on your teams
  • Generate results by pitching client stories (by phone and email) to journalists and influencers
  • Write content for a variety of purposes such as pitches, speaking and award submissions, press releases, blog entries, feature articles and case studies
  • Deliver analytics reports
  • Assist with clients’ digital marketing programs
  • Arrange and host media interviews and events
  • Brainstorm new ideas for integrated comms campaigns
  • Participate in new business opportunities, from research to pitching prospective clients

You’ll Bring:

  • At least one prior internship 
  • 1-2 years full time agency or in house experience
  • Interest and/or experience working with tech clients
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – having an opinion is a must!
  • Familiarity with general office tools and platforms such as the Microsoft Suite, Slack and Media Tools

Compensation Range: $58,500-$76,000

The range listed is just one component of Hotwire’s total compensation package for employees, which includes bonus opportunities and a variety of benefits mentioned above. Hotwire takes into consideration a candidate’s education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location, expected work to be performed, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees. A potential new employee’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
