Overview:
Ever wonder how different platforms and games seamlessly integrate with HoYoverse’s services, from login and account management to payments, updates, and cross-platform gameplay? The SDK team at HoYoverse builds the core software development kits that empower our games and partners to connect effortlessly with our global ecosystem.
Our SDKs serve as the critical bridge between game clients and backend services — enabling secure authentication, smooth payment flows, efficient content updates, and compliance with regional regulations. By providing robust, developer-friendly, and high-performance solutions, we ensure that millions of players around the world enjoy a consistent and reliable experience across platforms.
As we continue to expand our global reach, we are looking for talented and passionate students to join our SDK team. Through this internship, you will gain hands-on experience designing and building highly reliable SDKs used by large-scale games, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and explore the cutting edge of game technology infrastructure.
This is a 3–6 month internship designed for final-year students, with the potential to be considered for a full-time graduate role upon successful completion and performance.
What You Will Do:
- Build high quality PC & Mobile web applications for account/payment/game SDKs that will be used by millions of users around the world!
- Design and build high quality web applications for the platform team's internal tools and services.
- Build quality control and efficiency improvement tools.
- Maintain existing web applications.
- Research and explore the integration of cutting-edge technologies to existing products in order to elevate our performance, robustness and user experience to the next level!
- Adopt and use the best engineering practices.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree (or above) in Computer Science or related programs.
- Good understanding of CS fundamentals, such as data structures, algorithms, network, operating system, etc.
- Ability to develop in at least one of the frontends tech stacks (React/VUE/etc)
- Proficient with at least one programming language.
- Possess a passion for learning and self-motivation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and advanced Chinese to liaise with teams and review internal documentation.
