What You Will Do:
1. Design original, high-quality monsters (humanoid and non-humanoid) for miHoYo’s games, from concept to final in-game implementation.
2. Support pre-production R&D by creating monster concepts, animations, and creature variations.
3. Lead the artistic pipeline—develop concept art, three-view turnaround drawings, and provide feedback on 3D models, animations, and VFX.
4. Ensure artistic consistency across all monster assets by defining style guides and quality standards.
5. Adapt designs based on gameplay needs, technical constraints, and player feedback.
6. Mentor and guide junior artists, ensuring team output meets project vision.
 
What You Will Need:
1. 2+ years of professional experience in creature/monster design for games (portfolio required).
2. Strong artistic foundation in anatomy, form, and color theory, with the ability to merge realism and stylized aesthetics.
3. Proficient in digital art tools like Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, or SAI.
4. Passionate about games, with a deep understanding of creature design in gameplay contexts.
5. Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative, with strong communication skills.
6. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet production deadlines.
