What You Will Do:
You will build the cloud-native engine foundation for our new flagship title — a technically ambitious, large-scale game intended to deliver high-end experiences to players regardless of device capability. This role has major technical impact: you will design the systesm, services, and engine infrastructure that make cloud execution scalable, stable, and performant for millions of players.
You will:

Design and implement core engine systems and cloud platform features that enable large-scale distributed game execution

Collaborate closely with rendering, networking, and platform teams to adapt existing engine components into a new cloud-native architecture

Develop distributed algorithims and system-level solutions that improve performance, scalability, reliability, and memory efficiency

Profile, debug, and optimize subsystems for cloud environments

Produce clear technical documentation, design notes, and implementation standards
What We Are Looking For:

Minimum 5 years professional programming experience (more senior candidates encouraged)

Strong C++ programming skills

Solid understanding of game engine architecture and system-level design

Experience with multiple engine subsystems such as:

Physics

Animation
-
Level/scene streaming

File systems
-
Resource management
-
Gameplay systems or core runtime

Strong understanding of multi-threaded programming and memory management

Experience with data-oriented design and performance-focused engineering

Proficiency with profiling tools, debugging tools, and optimization workflows

High ownership, strong work ethic, and ability to solve complex problems in a fast-moving environment
Pluses:
- Experience developing with Unreal Engine

Familiarity with rendering or GPU concepts
Benefits:
The base pay range for this position is $180,000 to $300,000 USD per year. Actual pay is based on location and may vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, and experience from the candidate.
