About The Role

HP IQ operates with the pace and ambiguity of a startup with the scale and rigor of HP’s global enterprise. As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence across HP IQ’s internal technology ecosystem. You will serve as the central orchestration point for complex, cross-functional IT initiatives to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to projects with many moving parts.

You will partner closely with engineering, IT, security, compliance, procurement, and business stakeholders at both HP IQ and broader HP to ensure tools, systems, and infrastructure initiatives are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and with minimal friction.

What You Might Do

  • Serve as the primary intake and coordination lead for IT-related initiatives, including new tools, integrations, compliance reviews, and infrastructure projects.
  • Drive end-to-end execution of cross-functional projects involving security reviews (e.g., SRS/TPRA), vendor onboarding, procurement workflows, and enterprise approvals.
  • Establish and refine project management cadences (sprints, status updates, stakeholder reporting) to bring structure to previously unstructured or ambiguous processes.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers early by proactively working across teams to resolve issues and keep initiatives on track.
  • Partner with recruiting, engineering, IT, and operations teams to enable new systems and integrations before contracts are finalized, ensuring technical readiness.
  • Navigate enterprise processes while maintaining startup-level urgency and momentum.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical stakeholders (engineers, security, infrastructure teams) and non-technical stakeholders (HR, finance, operations leadership).
  • Lead vendor-facing engagements alongside internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, timelines, and responsibilities.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships across HP IQ and broader HP teams to streamline collaboration.
  • Bring visibility and transparency to portfolio health, priorities, and delivery timelines.
  • Support potential office infrastructure initiatives as business needs evolve.

Essential Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management, technical program management, or similar roles within internal IT environments.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT domains, including security reviews, compliance processes, vendor management, SaaS integrations, and infrastructure coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives that span engineering, IT, security, procurement, and business teams.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments with incomplete documentation or evolving processes.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, startup-like or high-growth environments.
  • Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • High ownership mindset with a bias toward action and measurable outcomes.
  • Willingness to work onsite 5 days per week in a collaborative office environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience navigating enterprise cybersecurity review frameworks (e.g., security assessments, third-party risk assessments).
  • Background in both large enterprise environments and smaller, agile teams.
  • Experience managing vendor onboarding and SaaS tool implementations.
  • Familiarity with IT systems such as identity management, collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace), cloud environments, and internal support workflows.
  • Experience supporting post-acquisition operational integration or process standardization efforts.
  • PMP, Scrum, or similar project management certifications.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
