Position Description

HPS Investment Partners is hiring a senior professional to take a leadership role in continuing to develop Florida’s Intermediary Distribution market segment.

The Firm has been highly productive in recent years from both a product development and asset-raising perspective, and the goal for this hire is to continue creating and growing partnerships with wirehouse Financial Advisors, RIAs and Independent Broker Dealers.This hire will be responsible for generating sales in the Florida region of the United States. We are seeking a dynamic, independent, self-starter with strong content knowledge of private and public credit.

The ideal candidate for this role is an alternative investment industry professional with a deep knowledge of and strong connectivity to the intermediary channel, including national and regional wirehouses, alongside RIAs. In addition, the candidate should have experience selling to the qualified purchaser and accredited investor market segments.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Salesperson for the North-Eastern region of the country will be responsible for raising capital for HPS investment funds from wirehouse Financial Advisors and other relevant intermediaries.
  • Establish, maintain and grow relationships with alternative-focused advisors which will ultimately lead to an investment in HPS investment funds.
  • Work with HPS product specialists and other resources to provide content driven
  • Partner with the internal/external alternative investment specialists at the wirehouses and other intermediary distribution partners we work with to increase brand awareness for HPS which should lead to additional fund sales.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 7-10 years of financial industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Significant experience with alternative investment
  • Strong Inter-personal skills and the ability to work
