Regional Resident Services Supervisor | Job Overview
As a Regional Resident Services Supervisor team member, you will provide hands-on maintenance and operational support across multiple communities. This includes completing work orders, assisting with apartment turns, supporting special projects, and filling in for onsite team members during vacancies or absences.
This role is ideal for experienced maintenance professionals who are adaptable, solution-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, travel-based environment.
Regional Resident Services Supervisor Support | Education, Experience, and License Qualifications
Education:
- High School or GED equivalent
Experience:
- Strong knowledge of apartment maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
- Experience completing work orders, make-readies, and preventative maintenance
- Experience supporting multiple communities or working in a regional or floating role preferred
Licenses & Certifications:
- Valid Driver's License
- EPA certification preferred
- CPO certification preferred
Regional Resident Services Supervisor Support | Job Functions
Maintenance & Property Support
- Complete work orders, assist with apartment turns, and support daily maintenance operations across assigned communities.
- Provide coverage at properties experiencing staffing gaps, increased workload, or team member absences.
- Ensure all work is completed to Hawthorne quality standards and within expected timelines.
Operational & Technical Support
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support to onsite maintenance teams.
- Assist with property inspections, identifying safety concerns, code compliance issues, and maintenance needs.
- Support preventative maintenance efforts to protect the physical asset and maintain community standards.
Projects & Portfolio Support
- Assist with special projects, capital improvements, and community initiatives as assigned by the Regional Service Director.
- Support budgeting efforts by identifying maintenance needs and contributing to planning discussions.
- Communicate regularly with Regional Managers and Regional Service Directors regarding property conditions, progress, and support needs.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed across the portfolio.
- Travel regularly between communities to provide support.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent Hawthorne standards at all locations.
- Follow all safety guidelines in accordance with OSHA and company policies.

Work Schedule & Availability
Regional Resident Services Support team members typically work Monday through Friday, with standard business hours based on property needs.
This role requires frequent travel between communities and flexibility to support business needs, including overtime and participation in an on-call rotation.
